Wranglin' In Control LA

This is a piece that I am working on to be used on my blog, "Living With Type I Diabetes: My Journey". I am a Type I Diabetic and use insulin pump therapy for management. It is not easy to get in control of it, but this piece is meant to represent my struggle for control as well as my determination to do so.

The pump referenced is my own, but I looked at it upside down and so the pump is drawn backwards (sucks). The "rope" is the catheter and the cannula at the end connects the pump to the pancreas (yes, people, that is a pancreas. Don't be a jackass) to deliver the insulin. The rodeo-style represents the both the struggle and the determination.

Done with Artline 0.4 on printer paper in about an hour.
